Kshaka/Asalatua/Gourd Hand Instrument
This hand instrument is handmade in Ghana and is a popular with people of all ages. The Asalatua is played by catching and throwing two gourds, which are connected by a cord; the sound that is created by the gourds is a powerful rhythm. This beat can be incorporated with other instruments.
The name Asalatua is the name given to the instrument by the Ga people of the Accra area in Ghana. Larger and demonstration images.

Akwaaba Hand Bracelet
Handmade wrist bracelet in attractive Ghana flag national colors of red, yellow, green and black. “Akwaaba” is woven in the middle of each bracelet. Bracelet is adjustable by pulling the strings on each side, one size fits most. Larger images.
