We also offer:

We can provide many programs including:

  • One day workshops
  • Multi-day residencies
  • Special programs for students with disabilities
  • Performance

Workshops:  Working in a classroom with up to 20 students, we will provide the drums for a teaching workshop.  Our highly skilled and trained teachers ensure that we will meet your specific artistic needs. 

Residencies: The Akwaaba Ensemble will come to you and take the students from your school through African Dance and Drumming workshops for a week or more.  The workshops will lead to a final performance for parents and the school or a public presentation.

Special Programs: The Akwaaba Ensemble has worked with students with physical and/ or learning disabilities and can develop a special program in your school.

Performances:  A group of up to 6 performers can come to your school and provide a vibrant and engaging drumming and dancing performance for your students.
